Love at first sight

April 2024, now 17 months since we got married and I am trying to get all paperwork for Juliet to come to Scotland . We did not start the visa yet as I am still waiting for 1 piece of paper from the French ambassy. I got divorce in UK in 2019 but never register my divorce with the French consulate, loch down came i did not see the need. After getting married with Juliet, I send all my divorce paper to the French office in Nante, France. They came back because they was in English and did need to be translated in French. Did it and all was send them in June 2023. Just before Christmas, I did send them an email to have an update on my dossier. Them reply was they did not look at my dossier and would do after 8 to 12 months of receiving. I contacted them again a few days and they reply was now they would look at my papers after 18 to 36 months. !! No TripAdvisor to give a bad review on them customers services. A 5 minutes read to see if i am divorce yes or no with my ex wife in 2019. I reply asking for an appointment in France in there office so we can do the papers face to face . They don’t do appointment in they office. All online and by post. What a service in 21 century and 2024 !

I need this paper to apply and start the visa application for Juliet to come to UK. If we apply for a visa and we don’t have or miss 1 piece of paper, the visa will not be decline, I would lose the money for visa £3000 and would need to apply and pay again.

17 months of waiting and nothing happening, my situation look like everything going wrong. 17 months and did not see my wife, did not manage to go back to Philippine, did not manage to save any money for the visa.( My overhead every month are bigger than what I earn.

I am so frustrated and fill so useless, everything I do, try, get me down. I don’t know what to do for my luck to change. I have 3 jobs, working silly hours, my body is so tired. I am 56 year old, my blood pressure is high, on a hedge of a struck or heart attack.

I only want to be with my wife, together and have a normal life xx
